I died laughing when I saw this!!! I just received my Medium Lady Dior today. I tried it on and tried to wear it cross body and it sat right over my breasts!! I just la lugged out loud and thought, “Welp, this certainly isn’t going to be worn this way out of the house.”

I've bought many designer bags; the ones I keep are the crossbody (I'm 61), and I won't spend money on any other brand but Chanel, anymore. I sold my classic double flap 2014 black caviar shw and replaced it with a Trendy classic black woc and a classic gray woc…No regrets.

The chain strap at around 4:35 is a spiga link and it's gorgeous!

A box chain has more solid box shaped links that interconnect, whereas the spiga has 4+ links per section that interlock with 2 behind them and 2 ahead of them to create that rope effect!

I think theres a difference between the shoulder bags and crossbody, but if they're advertised as such, then that's really at the fault of the company

I don't think some of the bags you were showing there were meant to be worn cross body. I think maybe just as a shoulder handle? By the way, you're so funny

    Chanel Flap Bag History

The history of Chanel flap bags goes back to February 1955, when Coco Chanel launched what would become one of the most recognized handbags of all time – the double flap complete with a mademoiselle metal chain and closure. The idea of the double chain was to allow hands-free use of the bag, a cutting-edge innovation at the time, and allow the bag to be slung over one's shoulder or carried in the crook of the arm.

Ok, so I own the boy Chanel bag and I don’t have that issue with the chain-you have to probably flip it and run it through and then it will hang correctly through the loops that are on the bag. Now, the length of the strap for the crossbody-I am 5’6” and it’s a little too short for me as well-reason being that I will most likely sell it-I bought it to use as a crossbody.

I love the softer channel classic one the most, except the boy, and hate all the other bags here. not everyone wears bags like you do and majority of the customers is shorter in height, i find it really uncomfortable to wear any bag across, the channel classic flap drop height is perfect to wear on one shoulder. Also hate anything that sticks out like a box and bumps into things and people as youre walking

100% agree about the Chanel boy bag. That damn strap is never even and the hair pulling feature is a nightmare I wasn't expecting and gets me every time.

Hi Sophie! I notice your pear shape engagement ring spins quite a bit! May I suppose look into getting "speed bumps" be put on the inside of your ring? Look here: https://www.callagold.com/problem-solving/ring-spin-or-ring-flop-one-possible-solution-speed-bum

Most of those aren't meant to be worn across the body…!!! Just on one shoulder, if at all! I think this would be more useful if they were ACTUAL cross body bags.

Your Boy bag chain was threaded incorrectly through the loops. Undue the leather strap where it adjusts, pull the strap out, and fix it.
